Your Privacy Choices

1. Where things stand today

BUILD does not sell your personal information for money. We do share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, because we use analytics and advertising technologies including Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads. Rollout of the advertising tools is in progress, so some may not be active on every page yet. You have the right to opt out of that sharing at any time, and section 4 below tells you how.

What follows are the privacy rights you have regardless, and how to use them.

2. Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a signal your browser, or a browser extension, can send to tell sites you do not want your personal information sold or shared. We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we apply it to the browser that sends it. You do not need to contact us separately if you use GPC.

3. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and why
• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that's wrong
• Delete your personal information
• Get a portable copy of your personal information
• Opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising

California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. EEA, UK, and Switzerland residents have equivalent rights under the GDPR.

4. How to exercise a right

To opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, either turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email us using the address below with the subject "Do not share my personal information." We will apply the opt-out to the email address on file.

Email support@buildthedamnthing.com with the subject "Privacy request" and say which right you're exercising. We'll ask you to confirm the email address on file so we can match the request, and we respond within 45 days (or tell you if we need another 45).

An authorized agent can submit a request on your behalf with your written permission; we may contact you directly to confirm you gave it.

5. No discrimination

We won't deny you service, charge you a different price, or lower the quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
